[Summer 2019 – Columbus, OH]

This year we grew two varieties of radish; French Breakfast and Cherry Belle. We added gelatin into the ground before planting seeds as it is a good source of nitrogen. Four or five weeks after seeding, we can harvest radish. Usually, they love cold weather, so spring and fall are the best seasons to grow them. During the hot summer, they bloom quickly and get a strong peppery taste.
