[Summer 2019 – Columbus, OH]
For the very first time, we grew banana peppers this year. We bought two plants from the OSU annual plant sale and planted them on our pepper bed in mid-May. We fed the plants with NPK organic fertilizers, added eggshells to prevents slugs, and used neem oil to control fungus diseases. After one and a half months, we were able to pick our first banana pepper harvest.
