It is super easy to grow basil indoors. They need well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. We feed them with liquid organic fertilizer once in two weeks. Due to the lack of sunlight, all our indoor plants are kept under grow lights. Indoor basil plants do not bloom very quickly like the outdoor plants. So we can get tasty, aromatic leaves for an extended period when we grow them indoors.
