This is our very first year of growing lima beans, and we have never even tasted them before that. Lima is native to Central America, and it is a highly nutritious food. Just like beans and peas, they are super easy to grow and maintain. It is one of the best crops to grow during hot summers. Boiled fresh lima beans have a soft mild buttery taste. We love them and want to grow them in 2019.
