In mid-May, we planted the kale seeds in the garden. They are super easy to grow and mature very quickly. Kale needs regular watering and nutrient-rich soil. To control pests, we used neem oil. As they grow fast, two or three kale plants are enough for a family. Kale can survive in very low temperatures, and they have a less bitter taste in cold weather.
