[Summer 2018 – Columbus, OH]
Sweet mini peppers are in three colors that grow as three separate varieties. We used the seeds of store-bought sweet mini peppers to get seedlings. First, we grew them indoors under grow lights, and we were able to get some fruits by artificial pollination. During the summer, we moved them outside and planted some of the seedlings in our pepper bed. They love plenty of sunlight and need regular watering. We grew basil as a pest repellent in both indoor and outdoor to control any pest damage. Before the first frost, all the sweet mini pepper plants that were in pots were moved inside after giving them a heavy neem oil treatment. Again, under grow lights, they are happily growing inside my house bearing their lovely colorful kids.
