We have seen this root vegetable in almost all the supermarkets but never bought it. So finally we decided to grow it and taste.

[Summer 2018 – Columbus, OH]

Rutabaga is a cross between cabbage and turnip. It is one of the easiest vegetables to grow and needs low maintenance. Pure gelatin was sprinkled over the soil before growing rutabaga, radish, turnip, and cabbage; hence, it is a good source of nitrogen. Neem oil was sprayed to control the whitefly damage.
